A. Arrive and Drive (Junior, Mixed, Adult) , Double Arrive and Drive (Junior, Mixed, Adult), Sprint GP, Bronze GP, Silver GP, Gold GP and Endurance.
Your arrival time for your event is 30 minutes prior to the start time shown/ chosen. This is to ensure enough time to get everyone within your session signed in, briefed, and fully kitted up with their race wear. In the cases of big corporate events, you may be asked to arrive 45 minutes prior to the event, so please pay attention to your booking arrival time.
If you arrive later than the designated arrival time, then we may not be able to accommodate your race.
There will be no compensation paid for consequential losses, lost or additional travelling expenses or other expenses of a similar nature.
We cannot guarantee you finish time due to activity delays or other circumstances beyond our control.
B. All drivers for Cadet Karts (AGE 10+) must have a minimum height of 135cm in addition, an inside leg measurement of 25 inches from the crotch to the base of the heel of the shoe.
All drivers for adult karts (Age 16+) must have a minimum height of 160cm furthermore, must have a minimum inside leg measurement of 30 inches measured from the crotch to the base of the heel of the shoe.
C. All drivers under the age of 16 must have an adult over the age of 18 accompanying them to sign in.
Any drivers under 16 years old without an adult present, will be unable to race.
D. EXCLUSIVE TRACK USE – Bookings of under 15 drivers will not necessarily have exclusive track use at busy times.
If you are ‘track sharing’ with other small groups, then each group will receive separate recorded results and podium presentations. Arrive and Drive sessions are likely to be track sharing with other members of the public.
This can be with Juniors or adults, depending on what sessions you have booked.
E. Drivers must wear flat shoes.
Trainers are the most appropriate footwear.
OPEN TOE footwear or HIGH HEELS will NOT be sufficient.
Fully sanitised race suits, helmets, gloves, and disposable balaclavas are provided, in a variety of sizes and included within the cost.
There are no hidden costs that you will be unaware of before arriving.
We run races in all weathers that the British climate throws at us, especially wet weather.
We provide wet suits for wet weather; however, we STRONGLY advise brining spare clothing with you if wet weather is expected.
F. *GRAND PRIX ONLY* - As lap times are significantly slower in the wet, due to the difficult technical skill required for these races, we reserve the right to work to the same allocated time on track rather than specific number of laps.
Groups less than six drivers will receive a subjective prize for the winner within are Grand Prix’s’.
G. Wearing gloves and a balaclava is mandatory.
You are more than welcome to bring you own equipment, such as race suits and helmets.
Please note that drivers who bring their own helmets should be aware that we only accept full face helmets with clear visors or goggles.
Motorcycle leathers/ race suits do not meet the same standard as karting race suits so they cannot be worn.
H. Spectators are welcome at no extra charge.
We also welcome support gimmicks such as banners, flags ect- all adding to the fun atmosphere!
2. PAYMENT AND DEPOSITS
A. A £5 per person NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required for EVERY booking. If your numbers are less than you have booked, you will forfeit your deposit.
(i) Example
Person A books for 12 drivers and pays a £60 deposit. Person A then attends Rednal Karting with only 10 Drivers. Person A will lose £10 of their deposit but still have £50 remaining.
3. CANCELLATION POLICY AND AMENDING YOUR BOOKING
A. We are committed to ensuring your safety and complying with Health and Safety legislation. Although this is rare, this means that there may be times where weather conditions (snow and ice) may mean some of our activities are not safe to take part in. In addition, we may also communicate any delays or cancellations to you via e-mail or SMS using your e-mail address and or mobile phone number provided during the booking process.
If we do this, you can:
(i) Ask for a refund (subject to Condition, please refer to below (b)) or
(ii) You can re-schedule your booking
(b) if you would prefer a refund, you must claim it within 14 days of the date of the cancelled activity. To claim a refund, be sure to follow these steps (otherwise we won’t be able to give you the refund)
(i) Send us an email to sales@rednalkarting.co.uk
(ii) The subject line of the email must be ‘refund request’
(iii) Include your full name and contact details
(iv) Make sure you request it within 14 days of the date of the cancelled activity
C. If you don’t claim a refund within 14 days, you must re-schedule your booking within a period of 12 months in accordance with Condition 2(a)(ii) above otherwise you will forfeit your booking.
D. If we must permanently cancel your Booking and we cannot offer you an alternative there will be no penalty or administration charge and a refund in full (if applicable) will be made within ten (10) working days of us notifying you of the cancellation. No other compensation, consequential losses or any other losses will be payable to you.
E. Where possible a booking amendment will be accommodated without charge or penalty. Please ring us on 07989471307 to arrange another date or time for your booking.
I. If you cancel your booking within 28 days of your attending date, you will not be entitled to a refund.
J. Rednal Racing ltd reserve the right to cancel your event for whatever reason and refund all prepayments .
4. BEHAVIOUR
The track staff have the right to terminate, without notice your activity if your behaviour or that any member in the booking is deemed as unsafe, violent, likely to cause damage, distress or annoyance to other clients, employees, property, or anyone else. In this instance we will not be liable for any refunds, compensation, or expenses. Being under the influence of drink or drugs is strictly forbidden for the outdoor karting activities and staff have the right to remove you from the event if they have any suspicion that you are under such influence. In this situation we will not be liable for any refunds, compensation, or expenses.
5. HEALTH AND SAFTEY
Go-Karting is not recommended for persons with heart problems, epilepsy (un medicated) or other conditions which may be affected by exertion (including pregnancy). Particularly tall, short, or heavier drivers may have problems fitting into the karts. We recommend a maximum height of 6’7’’ and a maximum weight of 18 stone. We will do everything possible to help you, but this may affect performance.
6. THE SIGN IN PROCESS
Every participant is required to sign a waiver form, if a participant does not want to sign in, or does not comply with any of the terms and conditions set out, it may result in that participant being prohibited from taking part in that activity. If this happens, no refund will be paid and we will not be liable for any compensation, consequential losses or any other losses arising.
7.RESERVATIONS
A. We strongly recommend you make reservations to avoid disappointment. You can make these reservations through our website https://www.rednalkarting.co.uk , or Contact us via phone on 07989471307.
B. If you book with us via online services, then we will ask for your credit or debit card details to complete the purchase and a ‘booking confirmation email’ will be created and sent to you.
8. VOUCHERS
A. Vouchers brought directly from us are valid for activities taking place up to 12 months from the purchase date and/or until the date printed on them. They cannot be redeemed after that date.
B. Vouchers cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed. We recommended that you keep your vouchers in a safe place.
C. Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash
D. In an intended purchase is for a higher amount that the face value of the voucher (s), the difference can be made up with a card payment. If it less, then change cannot be given.
9. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY POLICY
A. Many of our visitors capture video and photographs whilst on site, whether using headcams or personal devices around our site. By attending our site, you understand and accept that we are not responsible for the use of any images of you that may be captures in this way.
B. On the 25th May 2018 law known as GDPR came into effect giving you greater control of your own data. We have put things in place to make it easy for you to inspect the data we hold on to you or to remove the data totally. It is necessary for us to collect some data about you to complete your booking and payment. We will endeavour to ensure the information we hold will be accurate and up to date. If you find any inaccuracies let us know and we will correct your
record or delete it if you wish. The personal information which we hold will be stored securely in accordance with our internal security policies and the law.
C. We reserve the right to hold the sign in sheets done when attending Rednal Karting for up to 3 years. If you wish for them to be disregarded, then please speak to a member of Rednal Karting for this it be facilitated.
10. CHILDREN
A. Full legal responsibility for any child or children in your group lies with the Supervising Adult. The supervising adult must sign in form on behalf of the child/ children.
B. Children under the age of 16 must be ALWAYS be supervised and accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
11. LOSSES
A. Rednal Racing ltd is not responsible for and accepts no liability for any loss of damage caused to any vehicle belonging to you or any other members of your party or to the contents within the vehicle when parked on our site.
B. if you or any Participants deposits personal possessions, items or clothing or any other property with an employee or a third party at our site, then they do so at their own risk and Rednal Racing Ltd will not be responsible for any loss or damage to these items however caused. As you will be participating in physical activity, we cannot accept liability for any damage to any items of clothing, footwear ect.
12. LEGAL, DISPUTES AND COMPLAINTS
A. This Agreement is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms, whether under the contracts (Right of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise.
B. If you are a consumer, please note that these Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This means an agreement for a purchase through our site and nay dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it will be governed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
C. Any disputes or complaints must be brought to the attention of Rednal Racing Ltd within fourteen (14) days from the occurrence which gave rise to the complaint/dispute. On receipt Rednal Racing Ltd will respond within fourteen days in writing. Rednal Racing Ltd will endeavour to investigate and resolve such a dispute or complaint without involving third parties.
